Supporting Students with Hearing Loss course:
• self-paced blended learning
• 8-weeks duration
• provides 20 hours of professional learning towards VIT registration requirements
• fully subsidised for Victorian government school and regional staff
Develop understanding and capabilities in:
• assisting students with hearing loss, using a strengths-based approach to inclusion
• how the ear works, as well as types of hearing loss and their impacts
• how assessments can be used to determine student skills, including those areas requiring intervention
