Graduate Certificate in Education (Learning Difficulties) program

Are you keen to gain a postgraduate qualification in Learning Difficulties in 2022? The Department is offering 75 fully funded places for learning specialists, leading teachers, and classroom teachers to undertake the new Graduate Certificate in Education (Learning Difficulties) (GCE) course.

The GCE will be developed and delivered by Melbourne Graduate School of Education (MGSE) at the University of Melbourne. The course will develop understandings of learning difficulties and interactions between different types of learning difficulties, including dyslexia and dyscalculia.

Applications for Round 1 will open at 9:00am on Tuesday 1 March 2022, and close at 11:59pm on Tuesday 29 March 2022. Successful applicants will commence study in Semester 2 (July) 2022.

From Tuesday 1 March 2022, applicants will be able to access a link to an online application form via the GCE webpage.

Eligible applicants must have VIT Full registration and be working in mainstream Victorian government primary and secondary schools.
