VDEI also acknowledges the tireless dedication of our deaf education workforce and school communities who ensure that deaf and hard of hearing students learn and thrive in our Victorian schools.
2024 has been a busy year for VDEI, with many reasons to celebrate our work that supports deaf and inclusive education. We are proud of the high-quality programs, projects and initiatives we delivered this year and, as always, we continue to support the education workforce with professional learning, research and programs that inform best practice in deaf education.
