VDEI has received a number of requests in 2022 for advice on learning Auslan for staff in schools. This includes school staff wanting to learn basic Auslan, teachers in language programs as well as specialist advanced Auslan for Teachers of the Deaf and interpreters.
To better understand Auslan requirements for the workforce, we have developed a survey. The survey is designed for schools that currently have deaf or hard of hearing students but is open to all schools. Please feel free to share the survey link within your school and with colleagues. It will remain open until February 28.
