Today we acknowledge World Hearing Day as part of Hearing Awareness Week. World Hearing Day marks the launch of the World Health Organisations’ World Report on Hearing. The theme ‘Hearing Care for ALL! Screen, Rehabilitate, Communicate’ presents a global call for action to address hearing loss and ear diseases across the life course.
VDEI acknowledges and celebrates the important role of educators and allied health professionals in supporting deaf and hard of hearing children throughout their educational journey. VDEI's engagement in leading research and professional learning aims to support and strengthen knowledge within deaf education to improve outcomes for deaf and hard hearing students.
