Applications for the Master of Inclusive Education program and the Graduate Certificate in Education (Learning Difficulties) program open on Monday 5 February 2024 and close on Sunday 17 March 2024.
Recipients will begin their studies in Semester/Trimester 2 2024.
Teachers and regional workforces are encouraged to apply for a scholarship to gain expertise in inclusive and specialist education or learning difficulties. Discuss with your principal or manager how this opportunity could align with strategic goals for inclusion.
The initiative offers 150 scholarships (75 per program) for teachers and regional workforces working in, or alongside Victorian government schools.
This includes up to 2 per school per program for teachers working in specialist and supported inclusion schools. Depending on the course, applicants must have full registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
Applicants can choose from 9 contemporary, evidence-based online courses offered through 7 universities.
Specialisations in Deaf and Hard of Hearing are available through selected universities. Please refer to the Master of Inclusive Education program webpage to find out more.
Successful applicants will study part-time to complete a master's degree over 4 years and the graduate certificate award in 2 years. We can provide support for schools to cover the cost of replacing recipients with casual relief teachers during placements in the master's program.
