After a decade at their St Kilda Rd site, the Victorian Deaf Education Institute is relocating to the Treasury Precinct in the Melbourne CBD. The move will enable us to be close to our Inclusive Education Professional Practice colleagues and the broader team involved in the Disability Inclusion Reforms.
We have valued the opportunity to be co-located with the Victorian College for the Deaf since foundation a decade ago. Our purpose to support Victorian deaf and hard of hearing students will not be disrupted and we will continue the strong relationships with the Deaf Community, staff and students, and in particular, the Victorian College for the Deaf.
The dates for the move are currently being finalised, but are planned for a Term One 2023 transition. We look forward to sharing more details with you as soon as possible and welcoming you into our new space.
